DOXMENTATION

VALORANT

Valorant is a 5v5 tactical shooter where two teams compete to win 13. Attackers win a round by planting and detonating spike or eliminating the enemy team. Defenders win by defusing the spike, preventing the plant, or eliminating the enemy team. Valoran lets you pick agents with unique abilities and weapons that require creativity and a economy to manage smartly. both teams will be competing in maps that have their own personality and each players have to use their Aim and movement combined with strategic Teamplay to outplay each other.

Introduction

Aim

There are 2 types of aim, crosshair placement and raw aim. Both work hand in hand to improve your raw gameplay. Improving your aim can significantly improve your gameplay. Crosshair placement is about anticipating where the enemy will swing from and placing your crosshair on the exact spot before they peek. Raw aim includes flicking, micro-adjusting, target switching, and much more if you go down the rabbit hole.

Movement

Movement is one of the most important skills to develop for a clean foundation. Having stable and clean movement raises your overall standard of play. You cannot compensate bad aim with good movement, but bad movement will bottleneck your aim. Valorant punishes poor movement heavily.

Weapons

Valorant has a wide range of weapons each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Since the majority of the game depends on winning gunfights, knowing how to use these weapons is essential. You will learn most of it just by playing. Understanding each weapon's strengths and weaknesses lets you gain an advantage in any gunfight. You may find yourself gravitating toward certain weapons that match your playstyle. Never be afraid to experiment and find what works for you.

Agents

Valorant has a diverse roster of agents each belonging to one of four roles, Duelists, Controllers, Initiators, and Sentinels. Each agent comes with a unique set of abilities that can change the outcome of a round when used correctly. Choosing the right agent for your playstyle and your team's needs is an important part of the game. Learning one agent deeply is more valuable than playing many agents poorly. As you improve you will naturally develop a better understanding of how each role contributes to the team.

Maps

Maps are where every round takes place and understanding them is essential to playing the game well. Each map in Valorant has its own layout, choke points, and sites that attackers try to plant on and defenders try to hold. Learning the callouts of a map allows you and your team to communicate effectively and make faster decisions. You do not need to master every map at once. Focus on one or two maps and learn them deeply before moving on. The more familiar you are with a map the more confident and effective your movement and decision making will become.

Economy

Economy is the currency system that determines what weapons and abilities you can afford each round. You earn credits by getting kills, winning rounds, and planting or defusing the spike. A player who manages their economy well knows when to full buy, when to save, and when to force buy. Poor economy management can snowball a winning match into a loss and vice versa. Your economy and your team's economy are connected, so coordinating your buys with your team is always in your best interest.

Teamplay

Teamplay is what separates a group of five players from an actual team. Communicating through callouts, coordinating buys, and executing together will always give you an edge. However the reality of ranked play is that your team will not always follow the plan. Learning to position yourself around your teammates, cover the gaps they leave, and adapt to what is actually happening rather than what you hoped would happen is just as important as any strategy. Being a good teammate helps, but learning to play well within chaos is what will actually carry you.
